About Dr. Megan

Graduating from Oakland University paved the way for her to attend the fountainhead of chiropractic education, Palmer College of Chiropractic - FL; from which she graduated in 2019.

While at Palmer, Dr. Megan attended various clubs on campus and seminars to better her techniques and patient care.

Before graduating from Palmer, Dr. Megan was nominated for various awards within her graduating class - the Dr. James Buerkle Memorial Award and the Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding patient care and management. In Dr. Megan's final quarter of Chiropractic school, she interned in Traverse City.

She and her husband fell in love with the surrounding areas so much so that it led to their decision of moving and planting roots with their dogs. Dr. Megan loves her dogs, and currently has 4! Ellie- Basset x Pit mix, Budder- Yellow Lab, Peaches- Basset Hound, and Pepper- Lab x Pit x Rottie mix.

Dr. Megan is a native of Michigan, born and raised in the southeastern portion of the mitten. She has always had a draw to the great outdoors that Michigan has to offer, which was one of the biggest things she missed while being away at school.

She enjoys hiking, water and winter sports, and checking out local breweries - all of which helped draw her to Benzie County. Before joining Gateway Family Chiropractic, Dr. Megan had a small practice located in Traverse City.

Dr. Megan has been in practice since 2019 and is excited to have joined Gateway Family Chiropractic and serving the community in which she lives. In her first year of practice, she encountered the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, which ultimately led to her meeting Dr. Darren. After meeting with Dr. Darren, discussing treatment styles, future practice goals, and all things chiropractic, Dr. Megan agreed to join Dr. Darren in practice.
